Newmiln House

Newmiln is a stunning wedding location and is becoming increasingly popular with couples looking for somewhere just a little bit different. You and your guests will have a true feeling of homeliness from the moment you arrive until the time that you don't want to leave.

Wedding ceremonies often take place on the staircase and the dining room, ideal for smaller parties and can seat up to a maximum of 52 guests. The house is taken on an exclusive use, bed and breakfast basis and additional nights' dinners can be arranged with prior notice. The wedding breakfast is a set meal, which is prepared and served in the house. The house is also licensed.

The owner has her own team of caterers and they are happy to arrange a menu and wines to your taste.

For the eve of the wedding, they will prepare a fine dinner or they also suggest that you have a "carry-out" from the local Chinese or Indian restaurant.

Hire of the house includes exclusive use of 8 bedrooms (9 with a shared bathroom suitable for families). A total of 16 adults and 4 children can stay in the house. Other local B&Bs can be used with shuttle service available at a small charge.

A marquee can be used in the grounds for large numbers of more than 52 guests with no upper limit.

The grounds are ideal for fireworks displays and photography.
