Mansfield Traquair, Edinburgh

Mansfield
Traquair was almost in a state of ruin when refurbishment
started in 1993. It was then recognised as being a vital
piece of Edinburgh's architectural and artistic heritage.
The Mansfield Traquair Trust spent £5 million
restoring this treasure to its former glory and now,
Mansfield Traquair is one of Edinburgh's most spectacular
venues.
The
restoration was centred around the fantastic murals
of Phoebe Ann Traquair.
The
building was originally a church.

This
venue can hold up to 350 guests for dinner, making it
one of the largest venues available in central Scotland.
However due to the layout it is also ideal for smaller
parties. The "Baldacchino" between the North
and South Chapels can be used exclusively for smaller
groups.
Mansfield
Traquair is ideal for the whole wedding day, the ceremony,
drinks reception and dinner can all take place here,
ideal for winter weddings.
The
venue also offers a stunning indoor photography location.
Its
city centre location makes it idea for accommodation
as well as travel by rail, and air.
It
is important to note that this is strictly a non smoking
venue.
