Lennoxlove

Lennoxlove
has been the home of the Dukes of Hamilton since 1947.
The House, dating from well before 1400, is situated
in 600 acres of wooded estate just 20 miles South East
of Edinburgh and half a mile south of the historic market
town of Haddington.
Lennoxlove
is truly one of the most spectacular wedding locations
in central Scotland from the candlelit chapel with its
vaulted ceiling to the Great Hall with its incredible
fireplace, you couldn't dream of a more fairytale location.
The
principal rooms for hire include the centuries old Great
Hall for formal occasions. Nearby in the elegant Stewart
Room, suitable for smaller gatherings. On the ground floor,
the interconnecting Oak Room, Dining Room and Front Hall
provide a traditional, but elegant ambience for more intimate
occasions.
The
Great Hall can seat up to 72 guests, however for larger
numbers throughout the summer, there is a permanent
marquee structure to one side of the main building.
The
ceremony can therefore take place in the Great Hall,
drinks reception throughout the building and dinner
and dancing in the marquee.
There
is no accommodation available at Lennoxlove, however the
city of Edinburgh is so close by and there is a variety
of accommodation available in Haddington.
