Blair Castle

The home of the Atholl family for over 700 years, Blair Castle offers a spectacular setting for a wedding and a perfect backdrop for photographs.

Blair Castle forms part of a huge sporting and agricultural estate in the exquisite setting of Highland Perthshire. It also is home to Europe's only remaining private army, The Atholl Highlanders.

The ballroom can hold up to 180 guests with a top table and dance floor. There is also a private room on the first floor called the State Dining room which can be used either for the wedding ceremony on for a drinks' reception.

Catering at Blair Castle is offered by Sodexho Prestige, who are one of the top outside catering companies in Scotland. Wedding parties may choose from a list of pre-arranged menus or indeed discuss individual requirements with a representative of Sodexho to ensure that your exact requirements are met.

Blair Castle is easily accessed from the A9, the main route north through Perth, north to Inverness. The scenery is truly stunning, and the day will certainly be one to remember.
