Utopia is owned by Wendy McArthur, who worked at the 5-star Gleneagles resort hotel for nine years, including four as an event services manager. This professional background is, we believe, unique in the wedding planning industry in Scotland and is also what has made the business a success. Based in Perthshire, we are ideally located to cover the whole of central Scotland from Aberdeen in the East to Fort William in the West and the Borders in the South.

We limit the number of weddings that we arrange each year in order to ensure that you receive our best attention at all times and to ensure that every wedding is unique and not fitted into a pre-arranged package. We know the industry very well and as one of our clients you have the benefits of a fantastic database of suppliers whom we know work to the same high standards that we do.

In truth, I have lived all my life (so far) in Scotland and I still marvel at the beauty that surrounds me; the mountains, the lochs, the changing seasons, the coastlines, everything is stunning.
